We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as a Bar & Restaurant Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional who is eager to grow in their career. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the bar and restaurant, ensuring that high standards of service, safety, and quality are consistently met. As the Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for managing and directing the staff, maintaining food and beverage safety, and upholding cleanliness and customer service standards. Exceptional customer service is a key requirement for this role. A business diploma or degree is an asset.

Momentous Ltd. is seeking qualified candidates for the following position. Only applicants who meet the minimum qualifications and requirements will be considered. All candidates must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays. Candidates must be non-smokers and possess a valid passport, clean police record, and a valid driver’s license. Additionally, applicants will be required to pass a written English skills and fluency test. This position is not currently held by a Work Permit holder. Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in Food and Beverage Industry including previous Management Experience. This includes managing teams, overseeing daily operations, and handling customer service issues.
  • Leadership and Team Management including the ability to recruit, train and manage staff effectively while maintaining a positive work environment. Strong interpersonal skills are key to managing teams and ensuring everyone is motivated.
  • Experience with Financial and inventory Management including familiarity with budgeting, inventory control, and financial reporting to ensure the financial health of the establishment.
  • Customer Service Experience, including providing exceptional customer service and handling customer complaints effectively.
  • Sales and Marketing Knowledge, including the ability to drive sales through promotions, events, and marketing strategies.
  • The ability to handle the fast-paced and often unpredictable nature of the hospitality industry, including adjusting to busy periods or resolving sudden staff shortages.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations in line with company standards and the ability to see where improvements could be implemented
  • Recruit, train, motivate, and manage staff to ensure a high-performing team
  • Provide leadership and supervision to ensure exceptional service to guests
  • Create and manage staff work schedules, always ensuring efficient coverage
  • Communicate updates on food preparation, product standards, and procedures to staff
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels; order, receive, and replenish supplies within budget
  • Report regularly to head office on inventory, sales, and operational matters, and suggest initiatives to drive sales and profitability
  • Create effective opening and closing procedures for the bar and restaurant and ensure appropriate coverage in this area
  • Ensure compliance with health, food safety, and company security standards
  • Ensure maintenance of equipment in optimal condition through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair coordination
  • Ensure quality and presentation standards of all food and beverages
  • Lead local marketing initiatives and collaborate on planning special events and promotions within the approved budget
  • Foster a fun, safe, and memorable atmosphere for both staff and guests
